Revenue Strategy
How your funding mix, goals, and activities fit your opportunities and capacity.
Donor Pipeline
How relationships are identified, organized, cultivated, and maintained.
Donor Communications
How you communicate before, during, and after a gift.
Systems & Capacity
How roles, donor information, repeatable processes, and technology support the work.

What you receive

  1. A structured intake. A focused questionnaire about your organization’s current fundraising practices.
  2. An independent materials review. Review of relevant plans, aggregate donor information, communications, and existing processes.
  3. A 60-minute leadership interview. A conversation to understand context and clarify what the materials show.
  4. A five-pillar readiness scorecard. A structured view of strengths and areas needing attention, based on the evidence available.
  5. A written assessment report. Findings, strategic risks, growth opportunities, and recommended priorities.
  6. A findings conversation. A guided review of the conclusions and implications for your organization.
  7. A prioritized 90-day road map. Recommended actions with ownership, timing, and practical measures of progress.

How it works

1. Confirm the fit and scope.

We establish objectives, schedule, and responsibilities before the engagement begins.

2. Share what already exists.

Complete the intake and provide available materials. You do not need to create documents just for the assessment. Missing information is part of understanding the current situation.

3. Add leadership context.

Participate in the interview so the review reflects both documented practices and day-to-day realities.

4. Review the findings.

Receive your report and discuss the priorities, tradeoffs, and practical next steps.

5. Decide how to act.

Implement internally or explore separately scoped Mission Arc support. Additional services are optional.

What your team contributes

A primary contact; existing fundraising and communications materials; aggregate revenue and donor information where available; leadership participation; and candid context about priorities and constraints. Client materials are collected through the agreed engagement process, not through the public website inquiry form.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a self-assessment quiz?

No. Mission Arc reviews materials, interviews leadership, and develops findings. The public checklist is an educational starting point and does not replace this review.

Do we need a sophisticated donor database?

No. We review the information and systems you currently use. The assessment can identify where data quality or process changes would be useful.

Will we receive an implementation plan?

You receive a prioritized 90-day road map. Carrying out the recommendations is handled by your team or through a separate implementation engagement.

Does the score predict how much money we will raise?

No. It organizes Mission Arc’s assessment of the fundraising practices reviewed. It is not a revenue forecast, external certification, or comparison with an industry benchmark.

Are grants included?

We consider grants within your revenue strategy and relevant systems. Comprehensive funder research, proposal writing, and grant submissions are separate services and are not included automatically.

Is this an audit?

This is a strategic fundraising and donor-development review. It is not a financial audit, legal review, accounting engagement, CRM technical audit, or comprehensive organizational audit. Findings depend on the information available and reviewed.
